Chose a career, lost weight, developed an idea, got into a cause, etc. because of watching a movie or TV show?

I watch Biggest Loser as much as I can since right now I'm tryin to go healthy and lose weight. I'm pissed as all hell that Jillian's gone, but I'll take the blonde ***** I suppose.

I'm also watching the Australian Biggest Loser which is very inspirational, a lot more real.

Buxy, please understand that I say this with the utmost love and respect for you...

What the **** are you smoking? You're thinner than I am, and I've been accused of being anorexic for most of my life. Healthy eating? Fine. But you don't need to lose weight, as you are very pretty the way you are.

Seeing "The United States of Leland" inspired me to hate life for a while, "Oldboy" inspired me not ever watch anyone engaged in incest on purpose cause they might come back for revenge on me later in life when I am a businessman, and, joking aside, "Clerks" inspired me to actually consider screenwriting as a CAREER option.

Hahahaha I love you but I'm not skinnier than you. I'm just good with camera angles. I'm in the "average" to "pushing obese" range, believe it or not. I'm working on it!!!! Being healthy is the biggest part of it though.

First thing that comes to mind is that Jackass inspired me and a couple of friends to race a shopping-cart down a hill. Didn't really cause any injuries, just some trashed clothes and a couple of bruises.
