I seem to be having an issue with the Rev3 Video RSS feeds in general (QTHD for Diggnation, specifically at the moment). The download link doesn't always show up depending on what I'm using to view it.
Short version: Does anyone know of a site that will render an RSS feed as a simple webpage that I can navigate with the PS3 Blu-Ray Remote and show the video download links so I can save them?
Long version (TL;DR ;) ):
I've been using my PS3 to download and watch Rev3 for the last two weeks (yes, I've tried TVersity, but I don't like the idea of streaming when I can just watch the downloaded file).
This has been going well, but having to navigate from the main show page to a specific episode page to right-click-save is becoming a bit of a chore. Trying to do it with a PS3 controller, I mean (the Blu-Ray controller is even worse).
So, I've been trying to load up the RSS feeds into the browser, so I can just download directly. I've tried both http://feeds.ramisp.org and Google Reader's preview ( http://google.com/reader/view/feed/http://revision3.com/diggnation/feed/quicktime-high-definition ).
Google Reader seems to do the job, but the download link only shows up when I'm logged in. This wouldn't normally be an issue except I use Google Reader for other stuff, and I prefer List view; I have to expand whatever episode I want to watch (the Blu-Ray remote can't select the entry, so I have to use the analog stick on the gamepad) and then save it.
Anyway, I'm just trying to find a simple way to just see a list of download links on my PS3 browser without going through a huge hassle to click, log in to a site, etc. Basically I just want to pull up a Bookmark and right-click Save Target on a video link.
Does anyone else download Rev3 shows to their PS3? Anybody have a better solution than what I've tried?
