Anybody else check out Quake Live? My roommate and I signed up this weekend and we had some great matches. It runs silky smooth and it's free! played it in beta. I'm not quite sure why people are obsessed about this being a "browser" game, it requires a plug-in and a download just like a stand-alone client.

My friend is psyched cause he used to play it a lot, and the community is now coming back. But other than that, it's not that exciting.
