Can anyone confirm you won't need a SXSW pass to get in? We plan to go but aren't there for SXSW (unfortunately)

Consider it confirmed. No pass necessary. Show is completely free.

Awesome! We're in Austin visiting family and by total fluke (luck!) you guys are doing the show. My wife and I (and kids) are big fans. Looking forward to seeing you guys in person.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to meet both Jeff and Dan at the Digg SXSW show. They were both extremely down to earth and seemed genuinely interested in our opinions. We were surprised to see them standing in the crowd virtually unmolested.

Anyway, we don't want to miss the TRS show, but are concerned that it might be 21+. (She's 16) Does anyone have confirmation one way or the other?

And once again, thanks for taking time out to say hi guys! :)

Just getting in from the live show. Man, it was such a good time. The guys are as great as you'd expect them to be. Jonathon Coulton had a great 30 minute set. He's got such a quick wit and an amazing voice. Without ruining the specifics, this week is an epic return for the "Dan becomes a Man" segment. All I can say is, there can now be no doubt, Dan is definitely a man! Can't wait to watch the final version to see the stuff that happened away from the bar.

I really can't stress how much fun the whole experience was for me. I had a blast in line and met some great peeps, then the show was amazing, and afterwards I met even more great people, especially the guys.

Jeff, build it and they will come. Make that TRS version of BNAT happen!

I'm really glad I was able to be there...and on the front row! The only people I had a chance to talk to were Steve and Jeff, but I'm just happy I got a chance to go. Amazing experience!

I have to agree that the show tonight was awesome! The guys are so friendly and approachable - I got to talk to Jeff about his Shakespeare troupe experience. It was kinda bittersweet to say goodbye to Steve, though. Such a thrill to see the show live for the first time!

The show and party were awesome last night! Unfortunately some of the crowd at the back of the venue was a bit loud, but the show carried on. It was both sad and cool to be at Steve's last show. If you weren't there get ready for the awesome return of a favorite segment that's been missing for a while.

Prior to the show I had a chance to hang with the TRS crew at a movie screening. I noticed a tweet from Dan that they were waiting in line for "The Best Worst Movie", so I went up to the theater. As luck would have it Alex, Jeff and Dan asked if the seats next to me were available. Great times watching the movie with them, but it was so hard not being able to talk about the movie with them after. I also got a punch out with them in the lobby of the Paramount.

I was exhausted after that live show (mainly because we were standing around in the hot sun for hours on end), but it was fun times. It was a pleasure meeting Steve and thanking him for all his hard work. But I have to admit though, what were they thinking holding the show in an extremely small and pretentious bar? I felt bad for a couple teens in the front of line who had waited like 6 hours to get in only to be told that you had to be 21+ to get in and that they would have to watch from the street on a projection. Also, why no Q&A at the end? After the show, I wanted to say hello to the guys but it was so damn dark, loud and crowded in there I didn't even bother, we just left. :(

Exactly. I sort of purposely didn't do it when I had my picture took because I like to think that I eschew cliché (I don't really). But it was Dan who, on reflex I suppose, stuck his fist out which confused me for a split second. I'm sure he was thinking, "You have seen the show, right?"

Literally laughed out loud. That's the Dan I'd like to hang with.

What an AMAZING time it was. We waiting outside for a few hours and it was worth every minute. The guys were off-the-charts cool; every bit and more as funny and personable off camera as they are on. It is telling that I didn't want to bother them with Yet-Another-Fistbump photo and they demanded it. Getting to tell Steve in person how much I loved the House video, standing right behind him while he filmed a show, and having him talk shop with me for a bit was simply unbelievable. The other Rev 3 guys were incredible as well. Getting to meet Brian, Ron, Dane, and Zack and having them be just as nice as can be was not expected and very much welcomed. Brian did card tricks for us out of the blue for 10 minutes, and when I say "us", I mean a guy that stood in line with us, my friend and myself.

All in all, a completely fantastic evening. I can't wait until PAX. :)

Had such a great time meeting everyone. TRS ftw!

I am glad that minus the din of the club and rattle of my empty head I was able to figure out who Zack was, as opposed to who I thought he was. Once he told me who he was, I still couldn't get what he did.

Me: "Broddles, bends, and booze? It's a wine show?"
Zack: "It's non-alcoholic".
Me: "Non-alcoholic wine and beer?"
Zack: "like various teas and coffees...
Me: "Home-brewed non-alcoholic beer with bees and toffee? Sounds interesting."
Zack: "here take my card and check it out."

I am surprised he didn't need to get his clothes dry-cleaned to get the stupid out of them. :)

Very nice show, btw, Zack. And perfect cheer coaching.

You shoulda talked to Dan about the movie during the movie, he likes that.

And look at Alex laying back in the cut, like he don't give a fuck !

Wait, did I say that last part out loud ? Off to work on my Camaro, scratch my junk, spit, burp, fart, belittle women and open a beer bottle with my eye socket.

I am sure there are far more qualified people than myself reading this right now but I have seen it, the format as far as the Three Guys talking about things isn't going to change. The show's "premise', i.e. helping aliens who are stuck in 1982 out by talking about current games, movies, etc., has changed (to the "spies" premise from Ep104) and the redone-movies as intros will change to something that audience members can submit, like the backgrounds. The show as we saw it was essentially the same thing as it ever was, and I don't think that's changing.
