I need your help folks. I'm compiling a Movie Score playlist on Spotify (which is what you might get if Last.fm and the original Napster had a child) and I'm looking for cool recommendations of whole scores and individual tracks to check out.

The list is very much a work in progress and I'm limited by the selection available on Spotify at the moment, but here's the current list:

For those interested in Spotify, it's not available outside of Europe yet, but you can try using HotSpot Shield to access it. Spotify is the next great music revolution and I honestly cannot hype it enough. Imagine if the original Napster was legal and you're kinda there.

So many great choices out there, but Hans Zimmer comes to mind - anything from The Last Samurai or Gladiator or Backdraft etc.

The LotR score is top notch as well - during those more emotional moments it just attacks you eyes like an onion.

Moby's ending in HeatHe did that? Wow. No idea.

I was going to say Moby's "Extreme Ways" the Bourne movies.

I also like the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack, great orchestral celtic (influenced) music.

Also, pretty much any of the classic Bond themes. The newer movies have been kinda "meh" for soundtracks, but the "Connery / early Moore" Bond movies were awesome.

It's called "God moving over the Faces of the Waters"

I love the Pirates of the Caribbean: Black Pearl soundtrack. The other ones are pretty good too. The new Batman movies are also classic. I want to get the Spider-Man 1 & 2 movie scores, because I love the themes on the soundtracks. Also, I suggest soundtrack.net I found the music used in the Watchmen trailers and some of them were used in the film.

Are video game soundtracks also an option? Because the God of War music is epic in itself I think. Plus, the BioShock music was available for free for awhile. If I had more money I'd buy more soundtracks myself.
