I normally watched the 1up Show through either my 360 or PS3. Which file format is the highest quality that will work on one of these systems? .mp4 files don't seem to work, so that leaves the xvid and wmvs.

I usually download quick time large versions of Revision 3 shows and they work fine on my PS3. I use TV Versity to transfer them to my system and watch. I don't use my 360 much so I can't say myself. Just thought I'd post what's worked for me.

If you do not feel like streaming, I personally prefer converting the file to xvid/divx format using the best lossless settings. It's does the trick for me.

Of couse it would be better to set up a cheap evertainment computer next to your TV and just use that for all your digital needs. It's a bit of a hassle to get it up and running the way you want it at first, but once that's done, your all set. :-)

I have a PC running XP next to my 50" LCD at home. I just boot up that system everytime I want to stream off of hulu or rev3 or even watch ripped dvds in ISO format using a virtual drive. (It's nice to have all the special features from the DVD :-p)

Same here. Sure would be nice if they'd fix the HD format to work on PS3... Until then, I'll stick with the QT high. Streaming through MediaTomb.

The HD h.264 .MP4 versions of the Revision3 shows can stream perfectly to XBOX 360 and PS3 perfectly via WMP11 if you enable WMP11 to play the files first. This is an obvious bug in WMP11 but it won't stream files it doesn't recognize regardless of if the device can play them or not.

This Windows registry hack fixes the issue.

I'd try it, but I've had enough issues w/ my PC that I'm not really doing much that could break the camels back. Just cautious. I will say the large quicktime looks good for me. I have a 47" 1080p TV and it looks great watching the shows on there. Even on Youtube, Co_Op looked pretty good on the screen.

They say that they fix the issue in WMP12. But you have to wait until Windows 7.

Downloading an HD file to test now.

I assume they switched to MP4 containers relatively recently? The last I tried, the HD TRS eps would not play on my PS3.

Also, I don't use Windows, so unfortunately your hack won't help me. My issue was never getting the file to the PS3, though. It was just the fact that the files themselves would not play.
