Okay, here's a question for you.
I currently have Itunes on my laptop because it's the primary PC i've had for the last year, well I just finished repairing and testing my desktop, and I want to move my itunes library to it. Here lies the problem, the ways apple suggests is to: 1. turn your ipod to hard drive mode and move all the files to the other computer, this would work, but I have more content on my computer that will fit on my ipod at one time (and I have a 30 gig), their second suggestion is to burn it onto backup DVD's if I remember right this will take something like 9 DVD's, which I could do, but just seems wasteful to me because I own all the cd's on my ipod, the only things downloaded are the vidcasts. Now here is the question. Has anyone successfully just moved the Itunes folder from one computer to another on the same network and told Itunes where to look for it? I believe this would by far be the most beneficial for me, but I don't want to jeopardize loosing the data in testing.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!
