Slow, Laggy, Freezing Video

Well since I don't have time to download any of the videos and because I have a small bandwidth cap, I have to watch all videos on the embedded player, well either full screen or not for the passed two weeks or so all of the videos have been super laggy, slow, and have even froze my computer. I am running Vista SP1, on my laptop. I have tried on other computes and the same thing. Whats up?

Laptop
Web: Firefox (I tried IE and same thing)
Flash: 10,0,22,87
CPU: 2 Ghz
Ram: 2 GB

Gaming Computer
Web: Firefox (I tried IE and same thing)
Flash: 10,0,22,87

Ram: 6 GB

Both act the same way, and I tried that link you sent me and it worked perfect. I see that it has buffer, which loads really slow, but after it gets going doesn't effect the video it plays like I said perfect.

I use to go to the:
Download This Episode (on the right side)

* Download HD Quicktime
* Download Large Quicktime
* Download Small Quicktime
* Download Large WMV
* Download Small WMV
* Download Large Xvid
* Download Small Xvid

and click Download HD Quicktime, and it would stream in my browser, in well HD (it took up the whole screen) and it played perfect and it finished buffering the whole video in less then 3 minutes or less, but now when you click Download HD Quicktime thats what it does it shows up the download dialogue in firefox which sucks so thats why I resorted to just the embedded. (plus I only did the Download HD Quicktime for Diggnation because of my bandwidth cap)

You can go into Firefox Preferences and configure it to open with QuickTime Player. See attached screenshot. Also, the high flash file size is generally bigger than the large mp4, so you will actually be saving on bandwidth if you watch the large mp4 instead of the high flash.

ive actually had the same problem lately, i thought it was just my video drivers o_o
