I want to buy a new monitor for my computer, because im still using my old CRT, and i think its about time for a new monitor. For a tv i use an old tube tele. I was wondering if i could buy, lets say a 32" LCD HDTV, and use it as my televison and my monitor. Thx for the help

you could, but most HDTV resolutions don't work well as PC resolutions...and cuz the screen size is so big and the resolution isn't, it would probably look like crap...except 1080i or 1080p...i'd recommend buying the 32" LCD TV, then maybe buying a separate 19" PC LCD monitor...if you look around for a deal, you can find a pretty nice 19" for like $150

I have a similar setup and it works great for me. My TV is a 37in LCD and as needed I use it as an extra monitor for my laptop. Just be sure you get one with the inputs you need.
