I thought Wil was really funny. The show itself is still a little lame, but the humor improved it a bit. I'm surprised he didn't mention it on his blog, though.

Wil was a perfect addition to the show, I really enjoyed his commentary on TiVo and his own personal Cell phone. Great work Rev3.

I <3 Wil... in a totally heterosexual, platonic way.

Don't mean to sound gay or nuttin', but he looks cool in that shirt.

Seriously, other threads may hate on Wil, but he's qualified ok geek by me. Just cuz his character wasn't nessesarily everyone's favorite on TNG, doesn't mean you should hate on him. He was great in Stand by me and that movie that I don't remember the title to.
And Jessica's cool too....Even if I have a weakness for redheads.

If you have followed Wil's life/career over the years, he has plenty of geek/tech cred. :-) I am glad to see him in front of the camera talking about one of his passions. He is a great addition.

I think the addition of Wil Wheaton to the cast was a welcome change. He's a solid geek with enough wit and humor to make the show and reviews entertaining.
Besides, how can anyone question his geek value? He was actually /on/ Star Trek: The Next Generation? How many people can say that? :-)

I dislike Wil..I never liked his character on TNG and he sorta annoys me..only thing he didn't bother me in was Stand by me

I remember when I was around 13 he was on Call For Help filling in for Leo. Stand By Me has been my favorite movie since I was 8, so to see someone from my favorite movie "all grown up" and on TV being an Uber Geek was Awesome. I've been trying to get the guys Autograph ever since!.. Anywho. He is a great addition to the show because he knows what he is talking about, Hes Geeky and his personality makes the show more entertaining. I watched the 1st two episodes of InDigital, I think I'll watch it regularly now.

I was pleasantly surprised by his appearance. He has a wonderful sardonic wit, isn't afraid of expletives, has definately grown up to be his own person beyond "Ensign Crusher."
I really enjoyed him, and though the other hosts are cool, he really overshadowed them. Most probably because he is very comfortable in front of a camera. And maybe cuz he's nine feet taller than them...:D

I've always been a fan of Wil and what always excited when he made an appearance back in the TechTV days. I think it would be awesome if me became a regular.

I welcome Wil to the show, I mean he brought all of his geekyness to the show andd he knows what he is talking about and he is the Dvorak of the bunch, he's not afraid to speak his mind, which is a welcomed addition to the show.

He mixxes it up quite a bit with a very dry sense humour.
Its really perfect for the show.

I thought Wil was great, specially after I realized who he was. I wasn't familiar with the name and so at first I thought he was just some random cowboy they added to a geek show. After I figured out what I recognized him from I couldn't help but laugh as the thought 'OMG, Wesley Crusher is cursing!' went through my head.
I think Wil is a good addition to the show. I enjoy his dry wit and the fact that he is a true geek. But I can do without the profanity and will probably stop watching if that is the norm since that removes it from the list of stuff I want to watch with my kids around.

Wil Wheaton is a "has been."
End of story.
At least it looks like he won't end up in VH1's "Child Stars" shows.

He's too nerdy for me but it must feel good posting that from that basement of your parents, eh? :p

I can stand him, I hate his hour long speaches on his (imo) stupid open source that (imo) dont see why anyone would want to be bothered with. Its just when he starts talking my eyes just glaze over. I suppose he has a spot for all the "ZOMG I INSTALLED UBUNTU I R 1337ZOR THEN TEH WORLD" ppl but even still, do they never want to get laid?

I for one think he's a great addition to the show. I get a vote, right?

Jay, I think your vote counts much more than any of ours.
But I do like Wil on InDigital. Gives us the more "typical everygeek" view of the stuff they review.
And his zombie warrior shirt from the Dolby show? Coolness.

Since when is opensource equipment frowned upon on tech shows? Anyways, off-topic.
I think Wil is a great addition to the show. He seems genuinely interested in his work and I think he does a good job getting useful information about tech to us viewers. I liked Diane and Andrew when they were on the show, but this new lineup is just as great.

And as a real, geek at heart, I identify with much of what he says, woo, go will!
