I just read a post on a good short film and it made me remember that I saw some amazing DC fan films on youtube a few weeks ago. If any of you are DC fans, you will know that the Elseworlds genre is like the What If stories at Marvel. These are stories where they take established heroes and show what their experience would be in an alternate reality.
This trio of films uses the characters of Cyborg, Raven, Donna Troy, John Stewart Green Lantern, Mr Terrific, Huntress, a Monitor, as well as references to Toyman, Snapper Carr, Batwoman, Maxwell Lord, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, & others.
The production values are really above what I am used to for a fan film, and most of the acting & character representations are done well. The FX for the powers are impressive, and the general tone of the films as well as the music are spot on. I am interested to see this series continue. Part 3 is definitely my favorite so far. What do you all think?
