People are just being too agressive with their remotes. I've had mine since Nov. 22nd and have yet to have the wiimote slip out of my hand, let alone any chance of the strap breaking.

I ordered up 4 for the heck of it, only got 2 controllers though, might sell em to my friend or something :D
