Which version of the episodes is better quality, the MP4 HD 30fps version or the QT HD H.264 version?

I think the 30fps version is the best one. That's the one I download. I believe the H.264 version is only 24 fps.
BUT, I could be wrong.

The HD 30fps has faster frame rate and higher bitrate, but it will NOT run on the AppleTV.

and that said, honestly you probably won't notice a difference unless you are on an HDTV and looking closely at the gameplay footage they show, it just looks better at 30fps.
30 fps is traditional film-speed, so it looks more like film or most good television. It should be supported by all of the shows, since most of them are filmed on cameras capable of the 30fps format, if I recall Dave Randolf's specs? It's an awesome standard to start setting, especially in the HD era, and the progress of digital 30fps.

There's no need for it. The reason there is a 30 FPS MP4 is because of game play videos.
