OK, maybe it's just my PC, but I wanted to see if anyone else has this problem.
If I view a video via Diggs video player (instead of going to youtube for example) the entire video is locked. I can't rewind, I can't play it again, nothing.
a) is this my pc only, or are others having this problem?
b) is this the way you guys coded it? and if so...
1. can you please unlock it?
Because damn that's annoying. I just tried to watch some soccer goalie save a shot, and the video was like 2 seconds long. I tried to hit play to watch it again, and I had to exit out of the stupid video, just to watch it again. lame!

I think it's just your machine, the Digg video player works fine for me. Tested on my laptop at work, running Windows XP and Firefox 2.0.

I've got no problems on my side, but the first time I tried the flash player, it did get a bit sluggish, but after that first time it's been awesome and fast.

Yep I've got the same problem, can't pause the video etc.
Using WinXP Pro, FF2, in Australia...
While at it, I've noticed the comment system doesn't like me using a "<" (less than) sign. It cuts off the rest of the comment.

Oh good, so I'm not the only one having problems with going to digg.
Wonder what's going on?

Probably having problems with the new page. Its been slower loading then usual for me all day. I just assumed that maybe the new layout takes longer to load, no biggy, but probably the server died or something lol. ( I am not network expert)

Are the people that are saying: "No problems with the video player!" actually reading the problem we are all talking about? I'm saying:
"The video is locked, and I can't rewind, fast foward, or hit play"
and some of you respond with:
"the video player is fast for me!"
um, what? OK, yea, it's fast for me too, but that still doesn't mean it's working right.
Anyway, glad to know that I'm not the only one having the problem. I'm on:
XP
FireFox 2 (no plugins at all)
*UPDATE*
OK, looks like they finally fixed the problem. It's working for me now. Thanks guys at digg!

http://www.digg.com/ works fine, but http://www.digg.com/view/all gets the "We'll be back shortly" message

Yeah, they have some bugs to work out for sure. I really like the video feature other than the bug though.

I know this morning they were down for awhile, and things seem abit smoother now.
