so as stated in the video i need to find a input switcher of sorts. or something... i really don't know what i need i just know that i need something and that something probably exists.

PS: if it's hardware that i need it would be nice if it was on the cheap and reliable side.

The cheap acer monitors we have at work actually have the input switch hidden in the osd. It is still kind of a pain to use, but you can look for that before you go out buying stuff.

nvm i check osd and no options for switching input where there any more ideas?

Use a KVM Switch. At Newegg the cheap ones go for ~$15-$20. Those are the simple ones with only 2 inputs, but should be enough to what you want.

The only thing you have to do after you have it set up, is either press a button or turn a knob (depending which one you bought) and you have switched the input.
