View Full Version : Windows 7, Video Not Pausing

Watching Diggnation in Firefox in Windows 7, and it won't pause. Build 7000. Just a heads up. The sideways triangle comes up on the video, but it continues playing.
I'm experiencing this same issue in Win XP using FF 3.0.8. Happened today on both Diggnation and TRS.

Its the player....
when the overlayed ad pops up it breaks the player... it wont pause, shows the triangle, the fullscreen message, cant seek, and the time in the bottom right becomes NaN:NaN:NaN/(however long the video is)

I'm having the same problem. Also, some major problems buffering but that could be my end.
I really don't mind the overlayed ad, other sites like hulu do the same thing. Please, please fix this bug asap. It's super annoying and makes watching streamed videos nearly impossible.
Edit: I'm using an updated version of Windows Vista, Flash player version WIN 10,0,12,36 and Firefox 3.0.8 I have noscript and adblock installed but both are disabled on revision3.com

Really? I don't see overlayed ads on Hulu...

I'm sorry, for some reason I thought you meant the 15 second intro ad. I've never had problems before they started using that.

The problems started when the pre-roll ads came but the player actually breaks when the over layed ad pops up. Before it pops up the player features work fine... it could be a combination of both that break it though

Yeah I think it is the player too. When there are preroll ads, I can still press the side and have the video start playing, which sure I can simply NOT do, but this is free beta-testing and it shouldn't happen like that.

Pausing seems to work now. Yay.
