If I'm on the forums, I stay logged in forever...

UNLESS, either in this tab/window, this window/another tab, or another window, fresh or in a tab, I go to rev3 website proper.

When I go back to the forums no matter what window/tab combo, I am logged out.

No, I didn't log into anything on the rev3 proper site.

Also, my "last time visited" has said 11-19-2008 since, er, 11-19-2008.

The "You last visited" is really delayed. Right now it says my last time was marcch 7th 09. When 09 rolled in it was still saying 08 fo quite some time.
