After watching episode 4 with Trent it makes me want to download older episodes like the one with Al Gore so I can watch with friends on my TV. I usually get the HD Quicktime for my Vista Media Center. Am I missing something? Is this able to be done? If not can someone make this happen!? ;) I am sure I am not the only one who would like to see this happen.
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately we (Revision3) were not involved with the previous Digg Dialogg episodes. Not something that we can offer.

So what, Jim can't talk to Kevin and Jay and get permission? Sounds like bullshit.

and? Your argument isn't very good. Just cause Rev3 didn't have anything to do with them doesn't mean they can't talk to Digg (assuming Digg owns the rights as it is Digg Dialogg) and mirror them. What you gave would be a good reason Rev3 wouldn't want to mirror them.

That's the thing: They DON'T have the rights. If you'll see the link I posted above, CNN holds the rights to episodes one and three, and Current TV has episode two. Episode four is the first episode to actually be handled by Rev3.
If Rev3 wanted to broadcast those videos on this site, they can't get permission from Kevin and Jay; they'd have to get permission from CNN and Current, which would be costly and too much of a hassle just to put a few measly videos on a website.

I think its pretty strange too, but thats "corporate america" for you. Who owns what rights and such. I think though that since it was named Digg Dialogg which is Rev3 trademark I cant understand why it wouldnt be jointly owned. I guess there might have been a agreement to use the Digg name just so Rev3 could get the publicity to interview and meet Al Gore. I cant believe that Jay and Kevin couldnt have worked something out that they were joint owners since using their name to be allowed to at least be able to distribute the video, since thats what their business model is all about! That just my opinion though and everyone knows what that means.

I think that Current made the last episode, Current are in (probably indirect) competition with Revision3 in the internet video market so it would surprise me if Current gave Revision3 the episode they produced to distribute.
Revision3 isn't Digg, it just shares some of the same people but it doesn't mean they are instantly qualified to broadcast anything digg related. It seems though that Revision3 are making Dialogg from now on so I guess all future episodes will be downloadable :)

I've downloaded these episodes using firefox add-on, so no problem for me.

I wasn't meaning to attack you with my statement. I was simply stating that I think it's bullshit (as in idiotic), that Digg apparently doesn't own the content their name is on and in turn can't allow Revision3 to redistribute it.
