Who Made Up YOUR "A-Team" in Final Fantasy VII?

Yes, every so often we go through nostalgic gaming trips and tonight I'm reliving the Final Fantasy VII goodness. :D

So, here's the question. What characters made up your "A-Team" in FFVII?

For me it was:

CLOUD - Strongest in nearly every aspect. Had the strongest magic, summons, you name it.

REDXIII - Made him my primary magic man/curer. Very strong physical attacks with some summons thrown in for good measure.

Barrett - A little bit of everything, power, magic and summons. He was also my main man for the enemy skill materia.

So, how bout' you guys? :cool:

i know i used primarily Cloud, Cid and Barret, but i couldnt tell you what roles they had. I wanna say Cloud had the healing, but it's been forever since i played it.

however, my girlfriend swears by cait sith.

If I remember correctly I used, Cloud, RedXIII and Vincent.

I can't imagine putting caitsith in that lineup. It's absurdity!

Normally I'm a guy who takes the first three characters I get in my party and stick with them until the end. But for some reason, my final team ended up to be Cloud, Cid and Yuffie. Yuffie was my yellow materia person with support, but I don't remember what the others had.

Pretty much Cloud,Cid, and Tifa. I tried Cait Sith but I never really connected with him.

Marle, Frog, Magus

In FF VII I used Cloud, Tifa, and Aeris. Well, untill Aeris died then she was replaced by Barrett. I never changed Aeris' limit break because I loved healing wind. Later in the game as enemies get stronger her limit meter would fill up so fast that I rarely used cure magic or potions.

In Chrono Trigger I used Crono and Ayla with either Frog or Robo.

Man, I love those games.

Being a black man I had to stick with Barret, cause...let's face it - how many times do you see Bruthas in JRPG's ?!?!?!? It was cool to have a character I could fashion myself as in my fantasy video game.

Chrono Trigger - (Chrono, Marle, Frog)

Final Fantasy VII, I kept a team of Cloud, Tifa, and Barret whenever possible, simply because their limit breaks and skill sets worked well for me.

Chrono Trigger, I tended to play emotionally instead of logically, and so I always made an effort to keep Crono, Marle, and Lucca together whenever possible. This resulted in the already difficult fight with the Lavos core being nigh impossible at the time, especially since it was one of my first RPGs and I really didn't understand the concept of leveling just yet.
