NASA is deciding on a name for the International Space Station’s Node 3 – a connecting module and its cupola – before the two segments travel to space and are installed on the orbiting laboratory. The name should reflect the spirit of exploration and cooperation embodied by the space station, and follow in the tradition set by Node 1- Unity- and Node 2- Harmony.

The Node3 is not officially name after Colbert yet because NASA haven't confirm it yet.

It was a ok show but a bit too short.

Just got done watching - great episode, super exciting about Kevin's sitdown with Trent Reznor.

I can only hope from that short clip with Adam, that this means that Kevin & Alex will be on an upcoming episode of Adam's podcast?! *squee* I listen to it every weekday on my commute to/from work, I can't wait to hear them! :)

On another note, I haven't watched diggnation in a couple few months now. Last time was right after Kevin stopped by here in Minneapolis for some Rock the Vote campaign thing. It was weird, he looked bored; we were all bored actually, thank god drinks were free. Either way, looks like that rock climbing has been paying off!

I'm sorry, but Airwolf crashed in Germany (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airwolf#The_Airwolf_helicopter) in 1992. It was an ambulance helicopter after the TV-series. I've heard someone died in the crash :(

Also wondering why the Corolla segment was so short. You could tell it was just cut off. It actually looked to me like they tried to do a Jimmy Fallonesque type show where he sat in but maybe he wasn't cooperating. He looked like he was more into chilling and drinking than doing the show.

Shortness bothered me but, don't you think the whole Adam Carrola thing is coming? After the new show, Digg Dialogue, you don't think there is more? They had lights and cameras and mics. They have plans.

Splicing it in may be a bad path. But the new thing is on the way. I am sure. They get on National TV, with a former guest host. (First BTW) Here is another with some pull. Plans.

Has anyone noticed the geek connection with Seth McFarlane? Seth was on Adams' show recently and Seth Mac. is a geek too. I didn't even like the idea of the next guest host. But, I think he should be the next guest host. He is in LA and he is on the geek path and our age. (36 I believe) The first Diggnation opened with a Family Guy clip. Hmm.

Ditto on being MEGA disappointed about the Carolla bit.

The ACE podcast has quickly become my favorite podcast and I was excited to see the marriage of the two when it was a a short clip for no reason it felt like a cop out.

Like maybe they filmed it, didn't like Adam's tangents or how long it went or something and just put together the one at the hotel instead.

I hope that is not the case but I get that feeling.

Also there was something lame about seeing Adam trying to have a conversation with Kevin and Alex and they are just sitting there looking down at their laptops instead.

Personally I don't even know who Adam Carolla is but it did seem odd that the episode is hyped as having him as a guest only for him to be on for a few mins.

From the part they showed it looked like they shot the episode already with him but they did it again by themselves? Maybe there were some technical issues or something? SEems a bit off that they wouldn't just say that though. It's all very odd.

This is my first post because I really feel like I need to speak my mind.

Been watching Diggnation since episode 30 or so and I used to get excited about the new episode each week.

For me it feels like the spark has gone....

Please consider the following:

- Cut down on the adverts or just put them at the end. The amount of advertising is getting ridiculous and really detracts from the feeling of the show. I can't get into it because it just seems like the ads outweigh the actual content.

- More guests! Also when you do have guest on the show maybe take the laptops out the equation, they really do act as a brick wall between the hosts and the guest.

- I know you guys are seriously busy nowadays but I really think recording later in the day means you are both more chilled and able to have a few more beers... This makes for good viewing!! I think I speak for a lot of people here when I say I MISS you guys going off on wild tangents about absolute crap!

I dunno , This is the only thing I can think of to bring the old Diggnation which we all love. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe not.

Really really weak episode, guys. That one was hard to watch.

As a fan of Adam Corolla and a listener of his podcast I was really disappointed with the two and a half minutes he was on the show, after it was bloody well named after him. Where is the rest of that footage?

The node 3 confusion was ridiculous too. All the information was in that article. all they did was show that not once, but twice did they not even read the bloody article.

Also going to agree that this podcast has basically become an advertisement. We'll open with Michelob, do three stories, three sponsors, then another story before we sneak in another Michelob add. That's not a very good Content to Commercial ration.

I know this is kind of a bitchfest but I'm only so upset because I really love this show and the website and have been from the beginning. I still love Kevin and Alex, and I really wish Rev3 would give them their show back.

I'm glad the Adam Corolla bit was short, the first time I've even heard of the guy and I wanted to punch him. I rarely feel that way about anybody (honestly) but something about his attitude really annoyed me, and when he interrupted Alex saying "everybody's tuned out" it was so rude.

But yeah - I actually do like the whole guest thing, I think Jimmy and Garry mixed it up a bit which is really good at this stage of the shows life and I find myself enjoying those and the live shows loads more than the usual ones. Maybe I'm just getting tired of it, who knows.

It is pretty obvious that Alex and Kevin originally sat down with Adam Carolla to do an entire episode of Diggnation and it obviously didn't turn out as planned. I don't buy the theory that the episode they tried to tape with Adam ran long, that can be edited in post production. They must have just not been happy with how the taping went for whatever reason.

Adam Carolla's show is a podcast. They weren't taping an episode of his podcast, if they were they had no reason to be surrounded by Michelob advertising with their laptops out.

Kevin and Alex are chatting with Adam surrounded by Michelob beer boxes, drinking Michelob beers, with their laptops out. It is clear that they are filming an episode of Diggnation.

The reason the asteroid discussion came up because it was Adam's response to the story about Colbert having Node 3 named after him.

The question is... why did they decide to scrap it and instead rush out a new episode taped at a hotel? I guess we'll never know.

Which brings up the idea of, why isn't there more transparency in what goes on with the Production? I know Kevin and Alex never come on the forums, but maybe they should. Not regularly but from time to time wouldn't hurt. If you really want to get great feedback of your show, your fans are the best place to start. Wouldn't even need to be the talent... anyone who helps produce the show could respond. I'm sure someone comes on here (they would be dumb not too) whether they decide to respond or not is up to them I guess.

They probably do. I know Jeff and Dan from TRS respond on their forum. I've never seen Alex do it though.

Yea I forgot to mention that... Jeff is very active on the TRS forums... I just wish more were like that... Not a requirement but it would just be nice to see the hosts have an interest in what their viewers have to say.

Indeed, based on the original idea of the Revision3 name it is at risk of actually becoming Revision2 but online.

I didn't think this episode was anywhere near as bad as some of you are making out. I didn't think the advertising was any worse than normal, they have had far worse episodes recently. I had no idea who the Adam guy was, and while I won't be looking out for him, he seemed like a fun guy. But I do agree it was a little weird how it was suddenly cut short, and no explanation on why they were meeting him.

Unless by advertising you mean the end Michelob tasting, then I agree. I once made the mistake of trying some of their beer a few years back, if you like water with a hint of cat piss then it isn't bad. Although that wasn't any of the ones they've been tasting. But if it helps the show, I couldn't care less.

My guess is that they did an episode with Carolla and he was such a douche that htey decided they didn't want him associated with their sponsors, so they reshot.
