Okay so I've been doing a podcast; kzap (http://www.kzap.co.uk/), for a while now.
Due to filming and editing time and my other commitments I have moved it from being a bi-weekly video podcast to a monthly one.
Any feedback on the vodcast itself would be greatly appreciated.
Now I'm about to go on a big marketing drive to try and increase the traffic to my site and let people know that we exist.
Now I would love help on how to do that as well but the main thing I wanted to ask anyone who works are Revision3 (or in new media in general) is how do you get sponsors?
As I am planning on increasing the visitors to my site I am now hosting the streaming version of video on Youtube (not maximum views), however the download for the video is still on my free divshare account with a maximum of 10GB worth of downloads a month, now I know for my video that is only 147 veiws, which should be fine for now but I am thinking of increasing the quality of the downloadable video.
A premium account would give me 500GB of downloads but would cost me $299 a year!
Now I don't want to make money from my podcast but I don't want it to start costing me, so how do you at Revision3 get sponsors and how would I (considering I don't have a corporate body behind me).
I was thinking about e-mail 'efficientPC' as the podcast is on Linux and Opensourse and that would fit in with the theme of the show.
Would I ask them to setup a sub section to there site like ww.efficientpc.co.uk/kzap and trust them to pay X amount for every view (what should X be).
Or should I just stick with the simple google adds and hope they work just as well.
Or should I maybe do both.

Many thanks.

To start, figure out who your viewers are. What kind of products would they be interested in? What companies provide these products/services? Contact these companies and sell yourself and your product.

Best of luck.
