Dressed to kill: the main character of Assassin's Creed 2 revealed

More weapons, fighting styles, you can swim or even fly (with DaVinci's flying machine)...and more mission types!!
Personally I think AC is a great game besides those repetitive pick pocket / following missions. Ubisoft should make it right this time. I really enjoy the rooftop running, climbing mechanic. (still believe Mirror's Edge should make a third person view like AC)

He looks pretty cool. I'm one of the people who liked Assassins Creed 1, so I'm looking forward to this game.

I liked the idea behind Assassin's Creed, but every area felt so repetitive. Plus, why no bow and arrow? I can't believe an assassin back then would use a bow and arrow. Not all the time of course, but come on.

I didn't even mind the pickpocket / eavesdropping missions in AC. It was the crazy people that went out of their way to shove me, thus getting me noticed by the guards....they're the only reason why I didn't complete all of the sub-missions in that game.

From a design perspective, I'll be interested in seeing whether the new assassin has access to all of his skills throughout the game, or if he'll gradually add abilities like they did in the first game (I'm guessing it will be the latter, since the tools themselves are new).

Really....what I'm most looking forward to, is seeing how the overarching narrative is going to change / develop. Is Ezio an ancestor of Desmond, or perhaps the assassin who left the message(s) for Desmond at Abstergo? Will we see more of Lucy Stillman (Kristen Bell) and the Animus? (Yes to the second question, I'm sure, but I hope to the first as well.) How far along will the Abstergo plan be by the time the game starts?
Judging by the way Ubisoft handled the first game, I'm sure they don't plan on mentioning any of that information until the game is practically on the store shelves.

I liked parts of AC. The open world. The parkour. The fighting.

And hated other parts. The missions. The "stealth".

But they know damn well what sucked about AC1, so I'm greatly looking forward to a game that might be more of the good stuff with the shitty stuff fixed.

it will be exiting if they do indeed have it in Italy.

But i really love the whole run on walls and on rooftoops. Often when i play GTA, i wish so much i could do the same there. hehe. I feel it maybe got a little repetetive, but it didnt really matter. I love the grapichs and gameplay. really looking forward to the sequal

i thought AC was crap, far to simple. maybe they'll fix that and i'll have a try.

kinda looks like a pirate-kinda elizabethan time, gothic-er cities?

I really loved the controls for Assassin's Creed. The way the four face buttons controlled your head, arms, and feet was intuitive and innovative, I found.

Repetitive or not, I had a blast. It was one of the first games I played when I got my PS3, and I think people were way too hard on it due to the hype. And a lot of that hype came from the fact that teenage loser nerds were getting their pants wet over Jade Raymond. "OMG A GIRL WHO IS INTO GAMES! SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL! I WANT HER TO HAVE MY BABIES!" You know the type..

Really excited about this one... while I recognized the overall structure of the game had a lot of problems the actual mechanics of the game were amazing.

Running across rooftops and taking out unsuspecting archers, scaling huge building, the rythmic combat (even if the enemies crowded around and took turns).

Even the whole sci-fi story wrapper I found intriguing.

i enjoyed the AC. it was fun running across rooftops and diving from tall buildings. i want this one to introduce some more different ways in killing people
