A few years ago Todd McFarlane announced that a new Spawn cartoon would appear, and would feature the voice of Keith David and be super graphic. A teaser trailer of stills was also made. Though I've heard nothing of it since. Even the website has no current news whether or not this series is still moving. Does anyone more in the know have a clue whats going on with this series?

I own the 4 DVD set of the first cartoon and frigging LOVE it. This has probably been scrapped or at least put aside, it has been years since it's been mentioned, unfortunately.

What a shame...if the animation, voice acting and storylines were only half as good as the original HBO series, it would have been a hell of a show to watch :(
