shit happens to dumb people all the time just because people use macs doesn't make them smarter. Anyone with half a brain should know using pirated software is a risk of spyware and malware. The thing is this isn't some virus that could be sent via email or going to a webpage like with most windows zombie propagating vectors. This is the use typing in their admin password to install software and if it is a modified install it installs the zombie command daemon in the backround. It's not even a rootkit that burries it self into the underlying system kernal and system files. Its just a process that you can easily remove with simple kill -9 "ProcessID" and then remove the process.
