It's interesting to hear a female perspective on video games. She's great. Plus, she's absolutely stunningly beautiful. You rock. Keep on keeping on. :)

Even though she freelances and isn't a permanent addition to the show's cast, I think Tiff gives the show that added perspective that made the old 1up show such a great success.
It is so cool seeing the various guests that Area 5 comes up with to do the show. Some of them are former 1uppers, which is great, but it really exposes the audience to a greater variety of opinions and perspectives. That why I like it when Tiff drops in. I too was not aware of her blog or any of her work before she made her debut on CO-OP. Now that I know who she is and what she is all about I can tell you I will be check her blog from time to time. She has some good stuff on there. Keep up the good work guys!

I echo these sentiments, it's actually really refreshing to hear a female perspective on games. Not that the Co-Op crew isn't great, but multiple perspectives are always welcome. Excited to see her on this week's show again!

You know, Jeff Green was in this week's episode too.. But I guess it's harder to be excited about him, with no breasts.

Hey bro, I don't know if you know this or not, but there's more that separates males and females besides "breasts." They way people see things and process information, there's nothing wrong with a little perspective, which goes beyond gender. I was just commenting on said thread title.

No fucking shit. Hence my comment.

I'd be willing to buy the whole "we care about her opinion" if words weren't thrown around like "she's absolutely stunningly beautiful," which, bro, has nothing to do with her perspective.
Oh, and if everyone cares so much for the female opinion, why then, when Kat Bailey was on the show, she basically went ignored, while Tiff again sucked up all the praise? (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27137&page=2) I sense contradiction, and nerdy loneliness...

It's the nature of the beast when the medium is video. If you give me the choice of listening to either Jeff Gerstmann or Tiff Chow talk games for 30 minutes, I probably pick Jeff. If I'm watching someone talk games for 30 minutes, I'm more likely to pick the cute girl than I would have been otherwise. Double-standard? Totally. Understandable? Completely.
I care about Kat Bailey's perspective too, when she's talking about a game that I'm interested in (she just spent the past month blogging about Valkyria Chronicles for 'The Grind,' and it was a great read for fans of the game)...Mad World notsomuch.
I'm all in favor of bringing in as many friendly voices onto the show, be it Jeff Green, Torrey H. Walker, Brad Shoemaker, the afformentioned Gerstmann, Jeff Cannata from TRS, or the ladies' perspective (has Jane been on the show yet, aside from the theme song?). Just don't be surprised when the cute girl gets the attention.
