OKay, so I just built myself a HTPC, here are the specs:
AMD Processor 2.20 Dual Core 64bit
Vista
4gigs of Ram
ATI Radeon HD 3400 with the newest drivers.
and my TV is Vizio VO47L
They're connected via HDMI and I've got a Sony BDUX10S Bluray Drive I've even done a firmware update on that too.
Whew... okay here's the problem:
My first bluray disc was The Princess Bride, it played perfectly, no problems at all. My second disc was Planet Earth and it played perfectly, no problems at all. My third disc was Transformers, and it... gets all weird. I'm using Cyberlink's PowerDVD 9 w/ the news patches and the video gets all distorted, green blocks start forming and it stutters. The machine runs great, not a hint of slowdown, but the video sucks.
It plays everything else I throw at it... HD content from "other" sources plays smoothly.
I can't find any help using the Almighty Google, any thoughts on why I can't play Transformers? I even took the disk back and got another one and it still wont play. I tried another new release The Tale of Despereaux and it also gives me green blocks.
Any ideas?
