So I'm looking at the newly released solicits for July 2009, and I see that just like most of the other Marvel books, Hulk is gonna be reverting back to its old numbering, so issue #600 will be released.
BUT...
I look right below, and I see that Incredible Hercules #131 is being released. So now I'm a little confused...how is Marvel counting the issues of Incredible Hulk? Are they counting Jeph Loeb's Hulk #1 the next sequential issue after Incredible Hulk #112 (the last issue before Herc took over)? Are they counting the Tales To Astonish issues that he stared in? If so, does that technically make Tales To Astonish #60 (when he first appeared in the book) Incredible Hulk #7?? And be that as it may, why is Incredible Hercules still being numbered #131 when 112 of those issues were really the Hulk's book?!?!
ARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST TRYING TO WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT IS CAUSING MY BRAIN TO LIQUIFY!!!
Can anyone make sense out of this?
