View Full Version : Slow downloads in Malaysia?

Hi guys, I ran into this problem early April. My ISP posted that there will be slowed down browsing to pages hosted in the U.S. After about 3 weeks, the problem seems to have been solved. But, downloads from Rev3 is still slow.
This is my trace route to bitcast-a.bitgravity.com
Tracing route to bitcast-a.bitgravity.com [208.67.237.237] over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms mygateway1.ar7 [192.168.1.1]
2 * 20 ms * 219.93.218.177

What kind of speed are you getting now as compared to what you were getting previously.
Can you access http://www.podtrac.com ?

It was about 1.5Mbit before the ISP posted the fault. Now, it's 128kbit or worse.
I can access podtrac.

Yeah, I can download that file, but the speed is quite slow, not more than 512kb/s.
I mailed my ISP, and sent them the ping results and trace route results to some other network. It seems like it's been fixed. I've got all of Rev3's shows in my iTunes Podcast library.
