Any reccos on free panorama/photo stitching software? PC, Mac, or even in the mythical clouds, it doesn't matter. Thanks in advance.

the windows live app one works for me (free as far as I can tell and I've done a few panoramas using my camera that doesn't have any panorama mode built in).

the app I'm talking about was featured in a M$ tv ad about some kid stitching together some photos into a panorama and I went to see if it existed and it did.

what's the url for the windows live app? also I think this would make a good question for tekzilla to do on air.

It's called Windows Live Photo Gallery. You can ignore (delete?) the other junk that comes with it when you download/install it and just use the photo gallery. I just deleted all the shortcuts for the apps I didn't care for so I don't know if deleting all the other stuff will still make Photo Gallery work or not.

For a free panorama stitcher, I am not complaining!

I just found out about a free open source program called hugin a month ago. It has a lot of different options if you want to tinker with the images or there is a wizard mode if you want to keep it simple.

You might as well just install the whole suit. Or at least check out the other apps. Live Writer is pretty damn cool.
