Try going to http://www.podtrac.com ? Does it take a long time to load?
Try downloading this file (http://bitcast-a.bitgravity.com/revision3/web/diggnation/0199/diggnation--0199--somavar--large.h264.mp4) directly through bitgravity.com without the podtrac redirect? Is it nice and fast?
Thanks.

Going Directly to that URL is nice and fast. Only too about 3-5 seconds to get there.
Downloading the file directly does not go over 10Kb/sec and drops to about 2.4Kb/sec at it's lowest.
Been downloading it for about 5 minutes so far and it hasn't even downloaded 1MB yet.

That's interesting info there, it could be netspaces issue. Might have to log a support call.
I hope it's not this stupid filter trial or that they are doing some sort of deep packet inspection

Which state are you in Teamnewmie? I'm in NSW and when I logged the support call with Netspace the guy I was speaking to said there could be something wrong with the LNS routers for each state. He was in Vic and was getting almost full speed.

Hi all,
Can you guys please go to this website (http://www.bitgravity.com/netdebug) and go through all the tests. When you're done with the tests, please be sure to reference Ticket #3733 when submitting the report.
Thanks.

I agree, that test took forever.
I've submitted the results to bitgravity and also copied the results to the support request that I have open with Netspace at the moment.
Hopefully some good news will come of it.

There was a routing issue and instead of downloading from the local Australia Bitgravity node, you guys were downloading from a U.S. node. The fine folks at Bitgravity worked with the ISP to resolve it. And not only that, they are now peering so you guys should see excellent excellent throughput. :)

Hi all,
I've heard back from the wonderful engineers @bitgravity and they informed me that they have been working with their local Australian provider and that most of the issues are cleared up and just want to get confirmation from you guys.
If anyone is still having issues, please go to Bitgravity's Net Debug page (http://bitgravity.com/netdebug), do the network tests, submit the results, along with a traceroute to bitcast-a.bitgravity.com and reference ticket #3790.
Thanks.
