Idea: Show Party View

On the episode viewer it would be cool if you could add a couple of Revision3 Friends (through your forum account) or through a direct link like http://revision3.com/party/324d4 and there is a player on the left, and a chat room on the right (like on the Live stream).

When one person in the party pauses everybody pauses, so friends can watch the episode together, apart... it could be a great way of making Revision3 a social event like TV used to be.

This would be so much better than the current revision3.com/watch for two reasons - You choose the show (the way new media should be), and there's more interaction and as you said it brings back that social factor of how TV is/was.

Great idea, wonder if there'll be any positive response from the web team...

Wow...revision3 employees. Boldfire has come up with an awesome idea. Honestly, I can see this as being an awesome addition to any web viewing experience. How cool would this be if you could watch LOST or DIGGNATION with a friend on the opposite side of the country and pause it together, talk about it, etc. Very cool concept.
