Meh' - I used to want to go to an E3 until I went to PAX last year, it's just going to be way too packed, way too loud, and ---- I guess I'm just getting too old and grumpy to want to deal with that anymore.
I'll watch all the coverage though - it's actually a better experience than being there. True you don't get to actually play the game, but in the 'Hall' when you're "playing" the game - you can't really enjoy it anyhow with all the noise and feeling weird because people are behind you waiting.

What's everyone looking forward to this year? I'm really hoping, but doubting, that Valve will give us some info on HL2 Episode 3. I'm a huge Half Life whore.

Big fan of RPG's so I'm really looking forward to seeing more of DragonAge, some Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Assasins Creed 2.
Other than that though, not really sure - A lot of the games I was excited about this year have already come out or will be out before E3.
I think it would be cool if they had an Indie game showcase - some of the things I saw come out of IGF this year have been phenomenal!!

That would be awesome! We're big Valve fans at Area5 as well :)
As far as what I'm personally looking forward to possibly seeing at E3 this year:
Uncharted 2
Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time
Heavy Rain
Mass Effect 2
Assassin's Creed 2
Splinter Cell: Conviction
BioShock 2
Dead Space: Extraction
Brutal Legend
Halo 3: Recon
The list goes on! I think it's going to be a great year :)
I am hoping we might see a new Zelda game. I don't own a wii but Zelda might just make me.

Maybe it's just me, but out of that list only Bioshock 2 gets me really excited for the game. All the others get me excited to hear co-op talk about.

I feel the exact opposite. I really love Bioshock, but I think it should have been over after the first game. I know it made a lot more dough than was expected, therefore a sequel was pretty much a must. Now I hear something about it having multiplayer and that shit just makes me even more skeptical. I really don't like this trend of all games coming with a multiplayer component, I'd much rather have an awesome single player experience than multiplayer any day of the week. Anyone know if the same developers are working on the sequel? Didn't mean to go off on a rant, I really do hope it's as great as the first, I'm just not seeing it happening.

This target video makes me hope we'll see some Beyond Good & Evil 2 at the show in some form: http://bit.ly/QWyXV
We'll be doing several E3 specials from LA. Additionally, we'll be doing a few live shows. Expect to hear more about all that very soon. CO-OP will be bringing you a ton of coverage that week!

Is that supposed to be Jade... or Faith? Doesn't remind me of BG&E at all. :\
Bring on the Heavy Rain - my most anticipated game of this year.

Did you forget about the escape sequences from BG&E? There are like five of them in the first game. That video looks like an insanely awesome CG version of one of those.
But yeah, I hope we some more Heavy Rain at the show. It's also one of my most anticipated games. Fahrenheit was great but heavily flawed. Heavy Rain looks like it's taking about 20 steps in the right direction.

I'll be there. The one thing I want to see (hopefully play!!) is Beyond Good & Evil 2. *drool*

Escape sequences... Yes, now I remember. My least-favorite part of the game. Haha. Well, I'm down for whatever.
As for Indigo Prophecy.. I've been playing it along with the 1UP FM backlog... But I read a spoiler in a "news post" disguised as "Indigo Prophecy sequel announced" and now I don't feel like bothering to finish the game, as I feel like I know what will happen.. Is it worth it? I got played along through the first three episodes of the 1UP FM backlog, and only have the fourth and final part left. Not sure how close I am to the end.. Anyhow, I'm kinda derailing the thread, I suppose.
E3, woo! Wish I could be there. Maybe next year.

Damn I really need to break BG&E back out and finish it. I bought it and began playing it about a year ago and never did finish. From what I can remember I was quite enjoying it too, and those rastafarian rhinos were way cool. Anyone know about how long it is? Anyway, it sounds like the co-op E3 stuff is going to fuuucking awesome.

E3 is at the LA Convention center right? I go to UCLA. Can I be someone's personal bitch for the day? I make a good foot rest, punching bag, backpack carrier, and food getter.
:) Please :) Hehe.

Microsoft will not release a new console for a while, maybe they will launch a smaller console (As in height, if they shrink by footprint there may be problems with existing hard drives) that may be quieter. Allan Wake must also make an appearance, along with the Zune music store and Zune-360 Sync. I would be surprised to see the motion bar appear.
Patrick and Garnett had a point on a PS3 slim and smaller processes on this weeks Tekzilla, but I think the case design changes will be fairly conservative (maybe minimize the dome, but keep the footprint the same). Sony should focus mainly on their content and the PSP Go (much like Microsoft's 2007 E3 Press briefing [at that high school amphitheater, I miss Pe-tah being at Microsoft] all on this year).
Nintendo will stay on the track they have been on with the Wii and DS. Don't expect much rocking of the boat. So expect there to be no Wii-D or High-Wiifinition this year, maybe next year as they saturate the market.

I'm really hoping someone will step by the "Fallen Earth" booth and let me know what you think. And or cover it on CO-OP some time, hint hint. :D
I've been waiting for this game for years now, and apparently they are trying to release it this summer or fall. I want all the information I can get on it.
I'll be watching the videos all day...wee!!
On a side note, why is it so hard to get organized information from E3? With as many reporters, reviewers, gamers and geeks there, I'd figure there would be more information around besides just the big presentations...sigh
