This week our heroes take advantage of of a beautiful Bay area day and move their entire work operation to the park, leaving one of their own behind, but gaining David Ellis in the process! Fat Princess (Playstation 3), Phantasy Star Portable (Playstation Portable), and the Red Faction: Guerilla demo (Xbox 360 and Playstation 3) keep the guys playing hard, even in the great outdoors.

Episode was awesome. PSP looks like PSU on the go. Fat Princess looks like a good TF2-type of game. And the Red Faction: Guerrilla demo was pretty cool, although you didn't talk about it for that long, but I guess since it's just the demo that's cool. Also, I started laughing at Rob and his "This is so interesting that I'm smiling" face.

Fat princess looks amazing, makes me really wish I had a PS3.
and I must have played the Red Faction demo like 30 times in the past 3 days, ha.

Just finished watching the episode. This has to be the weakest line-up of games yet, but the episode was just as good as every other--a true sign of the show's quality, I think. Although, I think the Red Faction preview wasn't all that great. I applaud you guys are trying out new things, but the review by phone just didn't feel very real or as interesting as it would if they were talking in-person.
@Cesar: Love your work on Co-Op but please finish editing Broken Pixels for us fans!

Phantasy Star Portable seems like PSU except portable and with some of the really annoying bits restructured to work in PSO format instead. Which is to say... much improved.
When are we going to get a Phantasy Star MMO?

Heh, that's exactly it! If I could have access to Myst Online and a Phantasy Star MMO, that's all I'd ever need. No more WoW, a whole lot less interest in Star Wars: TOR, forget all about Blizz's next project. Just feed my desire for multiplayer Myst and Phantasy Star and I'm happy.

Eh, I can't get excited about Age of Conan. Once you get past the novelty of everyone running around the world topless and decapitating each other, it seems like there's not a lot left besides a vast world of brown. I will say, it's pretty cool that they're doing a console version, not sure who else has done that besides Square with Final Fantasy XI, and of course Phantasy Star Universe, even though that's not really an MMO.

Great episode even though we are sort of in a dry spell of quality games at this moment. E3 is just around the corner and I can't wait to see what the guys do with that. I remember messing around with the first RF with a friend of mine, we would just sit there and blast shit with out rocket launchers to see how far we could dig ourselves into the destructible environments. As for Fat Princess, I'm really starting to look forward to it.

what did you guys think about Red Faction Guerrilla?
From the demo it looks amazing! Hopefully the rest of the game can live up to it. The idea of walking around this open world and destroying everything in sight is a win-win :)

I loved the Red Faction demo, I was already pretty excited about it but Im now moreso having played it. The destruction is awesome, stuff does break a little too easily but it's still alot of fun.
Have to agree with the earlier poster, the over the phone thing didn't work. It was just kinda awkward, with the shots of Rob just nodding along, it's great that you guys are trying new things though, I just hope that's the last time you do that :P
I really can't wait to see your guys coverage of E3, I'm looking forward to it as much as the event itself.

Great episode.
This may be revealing things about me I wouldn't want to get out, but I used to really play the MMORPG Runescape. Fat Princess heavily reminds me of the minigame within it called Castle Wars. Essentially, a huge capture the flag game. The map was almost identical, but the sewer was a bit more interactive, and for health regen you would gather medpacks at your Castle. I now want Fat Princess so badly!

Great episode. I am honestly looking forward to the release of Red Faction: Guerilla. I never got to play the demo, however just watching and being a fan of the series it made me look forward to it more and more.
