I'm thinking maybe we should all calm down a bit, but only if...
a) We wait for ep two. Give it a fair shot as if it was the first ep
and
b) JV joins the community in the forum a bit, and we restart the whole thing in a civil, two-way manner.
Deal?
(if he doesn't show up, though, the gloves are off. :p )

I think he is thinking up material that will be even more controversial and confrontational for the next time around.

Screw the truce. :p Why back down first? The guy wants some one to ring him up so he can hand them their ass over the phone.. on the show. Maybe he falls apart in the forum arguing department.. I don't know. But that's the viewer involvement Rev3 is known for and JV wants. What's the problem?
You know actually I'm starting to come round. This show can work on Rev3.. but surely heavily moderating this forum completely destroys half the show. The show WILL NOT WORK unless we can call JV out. Frankly it's not fair for him to call us everything under the sun and not let us reply. If I could call him literally anything, anything, then he can call me anything. That's perfectly cool. So let's all lighten up, give the guy some fuel and lets see if he can be angry about something without going homophobic or bitching about forum members.

Yeah, there is no way he hasn't read stuff here, but I bet he's not signed in, or willing to comment. Though I wish he would. If he acted like Vanyerchuck did on the diggnation thread, I would totally welcome a civil discussion. And I think it would be good for both his show, and for Rev3.

I agree with that much. Everyone needs to have a thick skin and learn to take a joke. You should be allowed to dish out whatever you want and you should be able to handle what he dishes back without crying "hate" or "homophobia". At the end of the day, it's all love baby.

You know, I don't need to wait for his second show, because I didn't have a problem with the man's show. I had a problem with the way he apparently couldn't handle the "haters" (and how are you not going to get those on the internet) and then proceded to call us all names and make fun of our entire culture.
So no, no truce for me. I just don't like the guy.

In case it was suspicious or not clear, I am here because I am a fan of JV's and JV has a new show on this website. I will also be checking out the other shows here and perhaps I may find something to my liking. If so, great.
As for whether or not Jeff Vandergrift is lurking these forums? That's a BIG NEGATIVO FRIENDO
He's probably napping on his couch dreaming about chipotle sauce.
It's real funny because a few of the users on this forum think their voice to JV's head is much louder than it actually is. They believe that because he "lashed out" at them the other night that they got to him and that he actually cares what they have to say about him. He does not care whether it was positive OR negative. Someone probably told him how bad the initial feedback was on his new show so he decided to rail on them (which I found pretty funny). The guy's never even read a book in his life, I promise you he is not reading this forum or ANY forum. He bashes his fans the same way, and allows them to do the same to him. He definitely should have waited to let you get a feel for his aggressive style of humor before welcoming you guys to it in that way. Everyone makes mistakes.
But everyone needs to chill out, step back, and laugh cuz it was only a joke!
As the opener to his morning show says everyday..."All love, ain't no hate."

That's absolutely the best way to speak out and you're totally entitled to that choice.
Seems a bunch of people here don't quite understand how the free market system works or maybe they feel they know what's best for all and want to control programming and bypass the free market.
Don't like the show? Don't like JV? Then don't watch. Simple as that. If nobody is watching, JV will be gone faster than you can say "hate speech".

Dude am I running the wrong web browser or what? That screen shot looks NOTHING like what I am allowed to do. Whoa, different fonts and size?!?!? I don't have any of that ish. Am I just too much of a newbie to have that kinda access?

Have you tried using the Post Reply button instead of using the Quick Reply form at the bottom?

Press 'print screen', crop it, save the image then you can use imageshack.com to upload it. Then you can just copy the code called "Hotlink for forums (1)" and put it right into your post then the picture will show up. Show us where you are entering text.. sometimes something screws up and the buttons don't work for me on the reply pages. Maybe you are having the same problem.

Go to your user control panel (user cp, top left) and click edit options in the left hand side menu. Scroll all the way to Miscellaneous options at the bottom of the page and change it to either enhanced editor or standard editor, instead of basic editor.
