According to Marvel: No Comment.
But the team is listed as
Spoiler Space for Mouse Overs
Spoiler Space for Mouse Overs
Spoilers:
Jason Aaron, Steve Dillon, & Matt Hollingsworth.
That team would get me to read the book again. I dropped it after Ennis left.

This is exactly what this book needs now, hopefully this creative shot in the arm will get people interested in this book again. After Ennis left the book and Bill S. took over, there was definatly a collective "MEH" from the comic book community.

*starts to wake up*
Huh wha?.....I had this most wonderful dream that Jason Aaron and Steve Dillion were taking over Punisher MAX. Wait...it wasnt a dream?
I think the title has faired fine since Ennis has left. Hurwitz had a good arc going, then Campbell just screwed up by producing shitty artwork. Right now Swiercyznski/Lacombe/Stable is doing a great arc with Castle in Philadelphia. But if it is true that this is gonna be the creative team, after the next story arc (issues #71-74) then this would definitely get more recognition.
People should go pick up the Punisher MAX X-Mas Annual from last Christmas. Aaron was the writer on that and that is more then enough proof on why he is perfect for this title.

However, dillons art, as fantasatic as it is, is a little comical for the gritty, grounded firmly in reality, max universe. Wonder how that will turn out. Still, sooooooo excited.

I never thought I'd ever be buying two Punisher books, but dammit, first time for everything.

Jason Aaron is PERFECT for the title! I'll be gladly buying every issue.

I really wanted to drop the book after Ennis left because nobody could follow it up (which is still true) but "Girls In White Dresses" was okay. So I stayed on. Now I wanted to drop it after "Six Hours To Kill", which is a little ugly, but still okay (even better than the previous arc) and THEN Marvel is telling me they put Goran Parlov back on the books. No way I miss Parlov on Punisher. He is awesome. So...after that I finally can drop it...but NO. Aaron and Dillon are announced (sort of).
Looks like they do something right at Marvel. Looking forward to the next issues.
