3DRealms / Apogee has closed up shop. Their site and forums are still up, there's not a lot of details, yet, but apparently all of the employees were let go.

Yeah, the real bummer is Brian Brushwood's brother Jay was one of them. :(

Yea, I never played any of there games but they seemed like a great company so I'm sad they are closing.
I was hoping to get round to playing Duke Nukem 3D after my exams (I still will) I'm sad to here DN Forever won't be coming out, we waited soo long.

The only good that will come of this is if they open the sourse for their old games (like ID do) and releise the unfineshed copy of DN Forever online.
It would still be a sad sad.

The bummer goes beyond someone just being someone's brother. A lot more people are without jobs, added to the unemployed rank. :(

I can't believe how long DNF was in development, some of the recent leaked screens looked pretty good too.

I hope someone else will finish it. I can't imagine all that hard work is just gonna get thrown away.
