The Co-Op Team go out of their way to make it up to Jason for leaving him behind last week, spending some quality time with burgers, beer, and a bevy of exciting games. This week they cover X-Men Origins: Wolverine (PC, PS3, 360), Demigod (PC), Excitebots: Trick Racing (Wii), and Trixel (iPhone/iPod Touch).

as always.
The editing on the "previously on..." part at the beginning really looked like one of those horrible CW teen-soap operas, which I found really funny.
Loved the ending, guess we'll be seeing a Barbecued Amends...2!!

Another great one guys. Can't believe you are 10 episodes in!
I'm really curious about Demigod, now. I think I'll pass though, I just can't handle RTS games anymore. Especially one without a campaign. I know all games are trivial, but RTS games leave me with such a feeling of "what did I accomplish" after playing a 90 minute match. I think that's why I'm enjoying Plants vs. Zombies, as it is divided into tiny levels with a clear sense of foward progression. Anybody else have this issue?
By the way, the compression on the 30p video doesn't seem as good as usual. I might be completely off on this, but at least it seems that way.

... just wanted to make that observation. besides your great game and "day in the life" segments, I find your ads really amusing and actually enjoyable to watch, which isn't easy to do. good job on that.

Thanks! Having to make ads is pretty new to us (we never did anything like it when we were doing The 1UP Show) so it's been fun to experiment around with it. We totally understand that most people would rather not watch commercials so we try to make them entertaining :)
Thanks for watching guys and for all the great feedback!

I'm loving you're show. The way you discuss games feels exactly like conversations I have with friends, the ads are funny, the theme song is sick, and the design of the fly-in text is sexy as hell.
But Heineken and Paps Blue Ribbon? Really? I don't know if you guys try a lot of different beer, but if you're going to get a 5L mini-keg, try Rogue Brewery's Yellow Snow IPA. It's amazing. There is a lot of amazing beer you can get for the price of a heineken mini-keg, don't limit yourself to a beer that tastes like it is already skunked.
Anyway, you're show is great.

If you watch our older shows, you'll see that we have good taste in beer. We bought the mini-keg because we thought it would be a funny prop and because it was what they had at the grocery we were buying BBQ supplies from. I love good beer--especially Belgian beers--but I'm also ridiculously poor right now. So we've gotta drink what we can afford. :)

My apologies, I hadn't watched many of the old episodes. I'm glad you enjoy good beer, and I hear ya in regards to being ridiculously poor. I'm a college student who is about to graduate, so I've got to start worrying about student loans. Get's in the way of my brewing. Anyway, what are your favorite Belgian beers? I'm enjoying a Golden Monkey from Victory Brewing right now actually.
Also, those burgers looked hand-made, do you have an interesting recipe? I mix ground chuck with a bottle of IPA, Sweet Baby Ray's barbeque sauce, and diced sautéed red onions. I put them on a toasted whole wheat bun topped with Cabot chedder cheese and a caramlized slice of green apple.

The burgers were part of a Omaha Steaks package that was sent to me so it was all pre-made. Your recipe sounds delicious! We are definitely going to have to try that.

Glad you like the burger recipe, I love BBQs. For hotdogs, I recommend poking holes in the casing and let them sit in a honey mustard, olive oil marinade. If you guys like jalapenos, try making a slit down the side of one, emptying out all the seeds, filling it with cut up chedder cheese, wrapping it closed with bacon, toothpicking it all together, and cooking it on tin foil on the grill. good stuff.

Great episode - loved the 'Previously on co-op' segment.
And the - 'Pimp cup - cause you're a pimp.'
Great episode - I hate you guys for making me want to try Demigod, I kinda gave up on RTS games long ago - but it seems like this might be worth a quick play. I wonder if there's a demo though cause I *HATE* going into online multiplayer games with people whom have had a headstart and are soooooo much better than I am at the damn thing because of it. Kinda why I don't play TF2.

Hi Jayfresh. I love the show. You guys rock. I even dig the commercials. Charcoal's the best way to BBQ. May as well cook on the stove if you're going to use propane grilles. I noticed that Ryan was cooking onions on the stove. A little time saver tip (and less dishes to wash) is to fold some aluminum foil into a little boat and place your onions in it, along with some olive oil/pepper and then just sit it on the grille. The onions get nice and smoky.

To be honest, I didn't have much of an issue with TF2, although some classes are definitely easier than others. I usually play medic, so I just run behind people and heal. If you want to play a spy or sniper, I imagine that knowledge of the map would be more important, which would require a steeper learning curve. Engineer also intimidates me quite a bit.

Loved the seat-belt ad! What was Rob saying under the graphic at the end of the ad?
