I am attempting to make my site look similar to Jeff Cannata's blog. Does anyone have experience with squarespace and know what template they used for his site. It doesn't seem like any of the default templates available on the site.
I know that squarespace claims that they can copy the style of any site. If that's the case, there are several other sites I would like even better. I'm getting frustrated because it isn't as easy as what they say. Either that, or I'm just really dumb (which is also a possibility).
Thanks for the help.
NOTE: I haven't redirected to squarespace yet, so my blog looks nothing like Cannata's currently.

I had trouble and not enough free time with the free trial so I gave up on it. If I make some money I may go back to it.

You guys aren't suggesting that their blogs were easy to setup because they had help creating their blogs from the Squarespace guys? That the WYSIWYG editor works really well when you helped design said editor? =)
I've tried to use squarespace in trial mode and it just seemed so much easier to run serendipity or wordpress.

If you really want it to look like Jeff's, don't update it for months!
I'm just razzin' ya, Jeff

I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I wasn't expecting it to look phenomenal after 5 minutes, but I couldn't figure out much of anything with it. The concept is great, but practically wasn't what I was hoping for. As much as I hate doing sites myself, it's kind of easier to just update some text in Dreamweaver and upload it. My site isn't awesome looking, but it works.

You mean the one he was elected supreme ruler of all higher beings in the every multi-verse from? :D (running joke)
Arn't there videos available of square space creating Rev3's host's sites on time laps, or is that just for some of them?

The support people told me basically that I needed to know CSS and that their sites are custom build from the general template.
So, the solution is: learn CSS and website design, and you can do anything on our site. If I knew website design, I prolly wouldn't need their site, right?
I finally got my 'CSS enabled' friend (what I like to call him), and he set me on the right path.
Now I just need a graphic designer to tell me what font he uses for his post titles and posts.
The big title is Roadgeek 2005 Engschrift. The side font used for Totally Rad Show is Rockwell.
I just need the font for the post titles and the actual posts. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

An easy blog setup is to install Wordpress and buy a theme from a place like www.themeforest.com - pick a layout you like and then redo all the images so it is custom for you. Squarespace might be too many options.
My 2 cents.
