Casting a 'Captain Britain and MI13' Film and TV Series

The other day I was thinking about the marvel moves franchise and wondered what other marvel property they can make into a film.

I’m currently reading Captain Britain and MI13 and I think this would make an awesome film.

So for fun I put together a list of possible cast and crew. Tell me what you guys think?

Good cast...I especially like the guy from Redbelt as Blade, since Wesley Snipes will soon be sent up the river.

I'm not sure plotwise how it will work, since alot of time will be spent on the beginnings on alot of the characters, especially Captain Britain. I was never too keen on superhero movies that linger too much on the beginnings, and thats what I'm afraid this movie will be notorious for.

But hey, I'm no screenwriter, if someone can streamline all that stuff and get to a nice juicy story, I'm all for it!

Pretty good casting, I dunno if I like Guy Ritchie directing, I might want someone with more of a history with science fiction movies (as opposed to the straight ahead action of Guy Ritchie films.)

what I really wanna see is a quality Daredevil movie, preferably with Frank Miller attached somehow, I know that would never happen but I can dream. No Ben Affleck or Jennifer Garner either.

Guy Ritchie is directing the new Sherlock Holmes film w/Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. if he can do that then he can do Captain Britain and mi 13. also Guy is good at directing an Ensemble cast.

There was a scene in issue #11 that if done by Guy Ritchie can be perfect. In the beginning when Captain Britian and Pete Wisdom's car blows up, you see the driver and Cap's date blow up as well. If Ritchie films that in his slow motion style that he puts into his movies, that would be an excellent scene.

Keep him far away from the script though. IMO he hasen't written a good script since Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
