So I recently went and found all of the DnA Legion of Superheroes books. While reading one of the last issues of the regular LOSH series they did I see a panel where Brainiac is getting told to do something and he says "Are you MAD? Are you...FRAK! Is anybody listening to me?"
Obviously he is substituting one "F" word for another, much like BSG made popular. Now this book came out in 2000 and the BSG miniseries didn't start until 2003. So it seems like BSG borrowed this substitution and greatly popularized it.
My question is, has Brainiac been saying this for a long time, or is this something more recent, like on the DnA run?
