Have you got a thing for heists, bank jobs, or capers? Lucky for you crime comics have made a massive comeback in recent years, and now there are some fantastic books for fans of the seedy underbelly of the world.

Watch or download now (http://revision3.com/ifanboy/crimecomics)

Anyone else already put the Darwyn Cooke adaptation of the first Parker novel on their pull list? That should be a great read.

Yes that book looks excellent. I am a trade waiter, but I will definitely get it when it comes out.

Id say this was my favorite non-interview ep yet, I love hearing about books I know nothing about.

It's only coming out in trade. It's going to be a series of graphic novels, no single issues.

Sweet. I am probably one of the few that enjoyed the film Payback, so I am sure the GN will be right up my alley.

It's taken me a while (long while) to get to it but I'm finaly reading Gotham Central by Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka. As I was on a comic book abstinance at the time, I just never got into this first time around. But it's really good. Brubakers Criminal is also a must read. Both series also had excent artists on board. Both Michael Larks and sean Phillips work is very evocative. Perfectly mached for the genre.

I'm interested in buying a bunch of these books, and thought it would be best to do so through the Amazon store so that iFanboy would get some credit. But it looks like the store hasn't been updated for the last few episodes. Is that going to be updated anytime soon? I'm happy to make my order in a way that iFanboy benefits from, I just need to find the right link.

If you go to Amazon.com from the store and buy anything it benefits us.

I just read the Potter's Field trade by Mark Waid and loved it. Premise is that Potter's Field is a graveyard for the John and Jane Does of New York City. The lead character solves the crimes and gives them the gift of their name on their tombstone. Great art and writing!
