So I figured out that the best way to watch video on the Wii is with the brand new Opera browser that came out this morning. The problem is, it only plays flash videos. Now, DL.TV plays flawlessly, YouTube works in full screen mode most of the time, and in page mode almost all of the time. But the videos on revision 3 and digg do not work at all! This makes me a very sad Panda. I hope Dave gets to work to fix these problems on both sites. G'Night folks!

I heard there was some error with the Wii browser and Flash 8 (or 9, or whatever the newest one is). All the Wii arcades say they're downgrading to Flash 7.

You have to remember it's still a trial, aka, beta. The reason is there's quite a bit not totally working, most notably flash and java. It's not anyone at Rev 3's fault that the videos don't work. When the internet channel is fully released and down with it's trial period, everything should work fine. But from what I've read that should be until about March or something. I could be wrong about that, but at least this is better then nothing.

Really, it is just random. I know a lot of sites that link to various flash video player sites with complete list of various TV shows. IE Daily Motion. Lets say all of the ATHF episodes are linked from Daily Motion. Well for some reason some of them work while others dont. Just something weird in the beta probably.

Anyway, on a separate Wii note cant wait for Monday with Super Castlevania IV Super Mario Bros R-Type and Toe Jam and Earl. I was only going to be able to get Mario and Castlevania (was out of wii points from the 5000 I bought on day 1) but I got a $25 gift card to gamestop for christmas... hello 2000 more points :D

Good lord, its like you're possessed. I have no idea what you just said. Go take an English class, you'll benefit greatly from it.

well, I've noticed that it depends greatly on the formatting that sites use, nbc and rev3 wont work, but youtube and dl.tv work all the time. Yes, the full version is supposed to come out in march, and they will start charging for it in June.
