With all due respect, Fys on the west coast has the lowest prices of all the frys. If you watch the sales on occation there are some diamonds in the rough. For example I bought a router (ar430w) for for under twenty dollars. I took it home and immediately put dd-wrt on it. Just as good as having a linksys which are four times that in price. The Fry's where I live was pretty bad. They since seem to have cleaned up their act a bit. Management seems to have been improved also, I happen to know one of the security people who was a cs student of my brother's. I do not have any real problems there now that people know I know him. Knock on wood.

I also need to sing the praises of Fry's. Maybe the fact that there is only one in the entire state of Indiana makes them try harder. My only complaint about them is the store is 75 miles from my house.
I've been shopping at this store for several years now. Things that are "open box" are always labeled as such. Things that are "remanufactured" are always labeled as such. Their prices, at least on sale items, are comparable to mail order. And on the rare occasions where I've had to return something, everyone is polite and helpful.
