Or no flashing at all (more probable)?
Heard about the availability of this soon, so was wondering.
I have the regular OCZ Vertexes in the Apples at the moment but the firmware update process is a colossal pain in the butt. I'm wondering first of all if this means OS X firmware updates, and if so whether existing Vertexes would be supported by such a tool.
Any ideas?

Well we know OCZ released special 'Mac Edition' solid-state drives with a Firmware tweak for OSX a half-year ago. But it that STILL an issue on their currently shipping SSDs?
How are the Vertex drives currently performing on your Mac(s)??? Cuz theoretically a drive **ought** to be rather platform agnostic and not really care about the OS running on it. With all the new versions of the Vertex and Summit SSD models out now - I'm wondering if any Mac-related glitches have been solved.
I have a new Agility series drive on it's way for my MacBook this week, I'll find out soon enough how well it plays with OS X 10.5.8

Oh, they're working OK at the moment - I have them in pretty much all of my Crapbooks which aren't the Air.
It's just that early on, they wouldn't work with Macs and later to that, a performance update was released - so it pays to update sometimes.
Someone on the OCZ forums put together a DOS-bootable (on a Mac) CD but it didn't work for me.
