Rev3 is Wii compatible!

My computer is running Linux. Or I should say was running Linux. Stupid Ubuntu and its' ATI issues. I'm getting it fixed but I was worried that I would miss my Rev3 shows in the interim. The only other browser I have is on the Wii and it won't even play YouTube videos anymore. Imagine my surprise and delight when I discovered that Rev3 shows play perfectly on Wii, including the hour+ TRS episodes. (FYI, Wii would run out of memory about 6 to 8 minutes into a YouTube video - back when Wii played them that is.) Really I just want to thank the folks at Revision3 for making programming that outclasses “real” TV and for magically circumventing Nintendo's memory management issues. Love it!

I'm half way through making a big screen interface for Revision3 on the Wii and PS3 and should be done with it in the next few days, here's a little preview...

This should make watching Rev3 on the big screen so much easier, if anybody at Revision3 wants to take this off my hands and give it some proper TLC feel free! I just made this to make it easier for me, and hopefully others :)

Rev3's no longer Wii compatible after the redesign. (Odd timing.) But the computer's working again, so no harm, no foul. And the Hulu-ish interface is nice. It's really too bad though that I have to get off my couch to watch it.

Does this mean all your big screen interface work is for naught?

Nope, the one I'm making uses Revision3's FLV files but in a different flash format. I'll complete it once this semester is done and dusted.
