Wow Rev 3 completely ignored the community and put Episode 2 out anyway, i feel cheated that i thought Revision 3 would have been different than a commercial TV station, that it wasnt all about the money, that it was the community that mattered, how naive was i.......

Well done Revision 3 you have lost a long time supporter and viewer of your podcasts and i shall be telling all of my friends and family to stop viewing.

Anyway i wont be kicking up a fuss on the forum anymore, i am going to look at taking this matter higher up, to some authorities maybe.

Why the hell would you stop watching Rev3 shows? Just because they continued with a show YOU don't like? Here's a simple solution, don't watch it. Just watch the shows you want to watch. The difference between Rev3 and regular TV is that you can decide what you want to watch, when you want to watch it. Besides, I KNOW you aren't done with Rev3. You'll be back soon.

Rev3 didn't "ignore the community". Unfortunately, these forums don't make up everyone who ever will or has watched a Rev3 show. Nowhere near it.

Don't get me wrong. I was utterly disgusted and angered by the comments JV made, but there really are no "authorities" here.

Legally speaking, JV did nothing wrong. He's certainly entitled to his own free speech. I disagree with the words, but support his right to speak (no matter how stupid and hateful it may be). The great thing about this country is everyone has the right to free speech. So he can say all the hateful things he wants and I too can exercise MY free speech and speak out against it.

But at the end of the day, there are no "authorities" you can go to. What you can do though is write to GLADD, local television networks and newspapers in San Francisco, Revision3's sponsors and venture capitalist. As a last step, you can take your own personal stance and stop watching Revision3.

I've done all that so far besides the last one. I'm still going to give them a chance to say something. Otherwise, I'll simply take a personal stand and stop watching their shows.

every since the first ep aired this a group on this forum has had their panties in a bunch, why? because they came out swinging at JV's and rev3 because they didn't like the show, and then they got something back from JV, a shit talking, yes he went off on you guys, and he said some things that maybe didn't need to be said in public.

but jesus christ, you guys went for the jugular after his first ep, and some of you called for the CEO of rev3 to step down, WTF is that about, and now some are doing it after the second ep.

see the problem is some of you thought that you would put down JV and his show tell rev3 what they had to do with their own business because some of you think your smarter and can run their company better. and rev3 would just sit there and say sorry and tell JV to go away and you all would be kings.

but what happened is rev3 is doing what they think is best at this time, and at the time JV unleashed on the forums, and he had every right, just the way a lot of you unleashed on him.

I didnt dish anything out, i didnt rant and call him names just because i didnt like the show, i watched the first ep, thought it was crap and moved on, then he was the child posting a 34 minute rant against the type of audience that watch shows at revision 3 just because they thought his show was shit also.

You're missing the point. The issue isn't with the show. I watched the first episode too. I mentioned I didn't like it and pointed out why. I also said I didn't care if Revision3 kept it or not. I didn't like the show, so I just won't watch it. No big deal.

The issue is with his 35 minute tirade which was totally uncalled for. People not liking your show doesn't warrant you going on a 35 minute rant. It doesn't matter how blunt the people are. They said the show sucks. Who cares? That's the point of having these forums. It's not a fan club, it's a discussion board. If someone thinks the show sucks that's what they think. There's no need to sugar coat things. Either ignore it or find out why they thought it sucked and make improvements.

You either ignore it or interact with those people and get ideas on how to IMPROVE the show. You don't call them ****ots. If it wasn't for JV's rant and lack of apology, I would give his show another try. Or two. Or three. Again, I didn't like the first episode but was willing to try watching again. People said JV was a good guy. Some even said JV actually stands for gay rights. I figured I'd give the dude the benefit of the doubt. I thought "If he's a good guy, I'm sure he'll man up and realize he made a mistake and stepped over the line". I'm not too sure about that anymore though. Anyone can say hateful things. People make mistakes. But it takes a man to apologize.
