Hey everybody. I have started my own podcast about the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Ca. I'm currently in my 4th episode and am wondering if you could give any feedback on the show.
I have made a few additions in my most recent episode in an attempt to really make the show better. Here are the links for the show...
iTunes - http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=313640100
RSS Feed - http://feeds2.feedburner.com/originald
Shownotes - http://www.originald.com/podcast
Thank you in advance for any input you can provide on the show. :) I look forward to hearing what the Revision 3 crowd thinks about how the show is put together. The content may not be super exciting for people who aren't really into Disneyland so pretend you are obsessed over Disneyland while listening to give feedback... haha!

I feel like this is really informative, entertaining, and even fun to listen to. You have a nice voice, I like the music, and you are very organized and structured.
My only comment is that I am not sure there are enough people who are really interested in DisneyLand. Maybe you could do just "Disney" in general. Maybe I am wrong though.
I actually like it. Like I said, you have a great voice and seem to have a fun personality. Also, maybe loosen up a little. The structured nature is great but its also fun to get off that straight line every once in a while.
Good job though.

Thanks for the feedback! I haven't posted yet because I wanted to see if anybody was going to post first, haha.
As far as there not being enough people for a Disneyland Podcast, I'm not too concerned. I run a Disneyland website and have a passion for the park. So in that area I'll just take what I can get. I'm going to put out episode 5 in the next few days and have 95 current subscribers (feedburner estimated) and that doesn't count anybody who downloads off the site. I'm pretty stoked about that.
On the comment to loosen up a little, I will be trying to do that. I am very concerned on being organized, but I feel you are right in that if something comes up I should expand on it. It would probably make the show feel more personal and like a "conversation" type of experience.
I will post when the next episode is published so people can listen and let me know if my attempts at making that issue a little better are working.
Thanks again, much appreciated! :)

I haven't seen the podcast yet... but I wanted to comment on the concern of being enough interest/fan base.
You'd be surprised how many people are obsessed with the land of D. I know a few people who go a few times a month. In fact I should refer my friend to your show. she is so obsessed it's almost annoying....
Good on ya for doing a podcast about something you're passionate about... As long as that comes through in the podcast, you will find an audience. I'll have to check it out when ever I get some extra time... Good Luck!

I released episode 5 last night. I tried to give the show alittle more of a conversational feel so it doesn't feel TOO organized. It is still structured the same but I tried to free myself up a little. It is hard to find a mix between completely organized and a little adlib.
I don't know if you guys will get a chance to listen but I'd love any input on my efforts to accomplish this...

You'd be surprised how many people are obsessed with the land of D. I know a few people who go a few times a month.I was one of them. I lived in Placentia, and from my arage to parked at Disneyland would take me 15min mid week, 20min on a weekend.
A group of us had SoCal resident season passes, and we would ring each other up and say "what are you doing tonight?" then head down for a couple of rides, dinner, and the imagination <?> show.
When you have a season pass and aren't in the 2 day mad scramble to see everything, you take the park in a lot better.
PoTC (both before and after the movie redo) and Haunted Mansion (regular and Nightmare Before Xmas mode) were definite favourites.

I like D-land and especially California adventure... but I never go because of the people. I hate crowds. believe it or not last time I went to D-land to actually go to the Park was a few weeks before California Adventure opened. It was a test day or a "soft open" before the park was opened to the general public. I got to be in the first California adventure commercial. There was very very few people allowed in the park and you got to do everything you wanted as many times as you wanted. The only thing you had to pay for was souviners everything else was free. One of the best amusement park experiences I ever had!
I should go sometime soon though just to check out the changes. I get in for free, it's just the crowds and the drive that I don't want to do deal with...
