Hey guys I was just wondering why I am still listed as a guest. Is there a certain post limit I must reach, or does a moderator have to promote me? Any ways, thanks for the help in advance guys.

I have the same problem. I've been looking over the forum FAQ and found nothing about this :(

Have you registered (http://revision3.com/register)?
If when you go to make a post you type in your nick name, then you are a guest. Registered members have the name reserved for them and it remembers it, and you will be then recognised as a member.

The forum doesn't let you post if your not logged in, so you must be register to post :P. So that's the weird thing...

With the recent software changes it might be an error with the two communicating.
Another thing to try is using the email address you used to register as your login name.

It must be something with the site and forums not communicating together, because when I go to my profile through the member lists it shows my post avatar and all that good stuff. When I post however it says I'm a guest. I also tried signing it with my e-mail, and unless this post is different it hasn't changed anything. Concerto it also says your a guest. Have you signed up since the site redesign?

It's weird though because my avatar shows on the main site. Hopefully this problem will be resolved. Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this slight issue.

Ok, I just delete my account and re-signup. But it seems that I still have the guest problem....

Hey guys,
Due to the way we were using memcached (and some other technical details I won't get into) people's user titles were never getting updated. That's all squared away now and they should be showing up correctly. No need to make a new account or anything :)

Just posting to make sure I'm not marked as a guest any more. God, it sure was annoying.
