I am really looking forward to this show. I never saw the original show, but these clips make it look really rad. Was cool to see the blond chick from Lost in it.
and it's weird for me right now... there aren't any new sci-fi shows that I watch anymore since they are all canceled or over with. With this show, Stargate: universe and then Caprica all coming out within the next year, it's like I'm right back where I was a couple years ago haha.

Looks interesting enough. Never seen the original, but with Juliet and Wash on the cast, I want to see this one.

The original two mini series were huge favorites of mine when they originally aired. I don't remember the series being as good, although it did have the great habit of semi-frequently killing off people and making the threat feel very real. I don't know if any of it would hold up for me now, but I am very hopeful that I can feel as strongly about the new one as I did the original when it first came out.

This is Joss Whedon's other new show right? I think it'll suck at the beginning, then get really good after everybody who isn't already a fan has stopped watching.

Joss Whedon has nothing to do with the show. If he had your joke wold've been funny though.
But looks interesting, and with Morena Beccarin and Adam Tudyk in it, I'm definitely gonna check it out. Also the concept is cool.

I remember watching the original miniseries. I found it very boring up until the reveal of what the aliens looked like. Knowing all this ahead of time, I am looking forward to this take, more than I usually would.
Plus Morena Baccarin as on of the aliens. Dude sign me up.
