I was going to put this in the politics section but then decided to take a risk and put it here (be civil).
I was wondering how proud people here were of their country and nationality.
Me personally I never introduce myself is English, I'm either from Briton or the United Kingdom, for me I think that is because I associate England with the English flag and the English sports teams (I hate sport).
I do like my country, I like the NHS (even though like all British people I complain about it all the time) and I like the BBC (although I personally don't watch it).
But that said I normally take the XKCD approach to my country:

Just because of random chance I was born here, that dosn't mean I have to have some kind of bond to my country, although I except there are many worse places I could have been born.

So how proud are you of 'your' country?

I do like the part of the country I'm living in at the moment, I used to hate where I lived with my family before here. I think I was the only person who said 'YAY!' when my parents announced we where moving and I must have been about 10.
I haven't even seen any of my friends from back there, I had one or two reunions after we moved and that was about it.
I am proud of where my family live today.
